The KMW M5 is a true premium DBM bottom metal.  Each is precision machined in accordance to the standard M5 footprint and pillar height.  All edges are generously chamfered to eliminate sharp corners that are common with budget designs.
 
This DBM includes the new KMW  Captv-Mag TM feature that helps prevent bolt binding and feed malfunctions due to unwanted magazine movement when pushed against barricades, props or even your own hand.
 
T-shaped magazine latch is ambidextrous.  Latch and mag well will accept all Accuracy International AICS pattern magazines.

The KMW M5 bottom metal hardware includes:  Precision machined front and back pillars that are 9/16" diameter.  Pillar material is 6061-T6 and surface is aluminum oxide blasted to give best mechanical anchor to your bedding compounds.  
 
Custom manufactured KMW brand front and back stock bolts are also included.  These bolts are already manufactured to the correct length, hardened and nitrided.
